From the evolving G - SHOCK, a new series "GX Series (G - X series)" aiming to withstand the impact (Gravity) from every direction (X = extra) appeared. A new impact-resistant structure incorporating a newly developed two-layer urethane bezel and inner protector was installed. 

The two-layer urethane bezel is a new structure in which another bezel is stacked inside the conventional urethane bezel. I put a hard urethane that guards the impact on the outside, and a soft urethane that absorbs shock inside. The soft urethane bezel covers up to the button part, enhancing the protection capability of the entire bezel without compromising the operability of the button. 

The inner protector that covers the module is molded with urethane so that its cross section becomes bellows. The unevenness stretches and shrinks as a suspension to prevent the shock from being directly transmitted to the module. The scratchy liquid crystal surface is covered with a protector to the limit where visibility can be secured, protecting from impact. The concavo-convex shape of the protector that surrounds the liquid crystal surface creates powerfulness in the face design. In addition, we adopted an alpha gel * excellent in shock absorptivity at 4 points of the inner protector at 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 12 o'clock. The shock resistance performance of the protector and the suspension performance of the alpha gel rich in elasticity merge. In the unlikely event that a shock is transmitted to the inside of the case, the new structure that blocks the impact many times is realized so as not to be transmitted to the module itself. 

Expression of flexibility, fearlessness on the design side. G-SHOCK We used the case of the largest size in history, and finished it into powerful modeling. I imagined the power of coloring, and adopted matte black as the main color. As an accent, we incorporate the red color of the brand color and the orange which makes the image of the uniform of the rescue team.

Equipped with standard radio wave reception function of 6 stations in the world and tough solar, considering practicality. From the viewpoint of both technology and design, New G - SHOCK is a new pursuit of "Tough" which is the identity of G - SHOCK.
